Introducing Rolls-Royce’s Latest Black Badge Cullinan | LUNO

Cullinan

If you like your vehicles to have a menacing aura, you’ll love Rolls-Royce’s latest Black Badge Cullinan. The luxury car brand considers it to be their most “potent” vehicle. It’s a bold vehicle that makes a statement of infinite power.

It’s being sold as the vehicle that can change its surroundings with its presence and its aura. A smooth beast with a more pronounced darkened chrome grille, capable of projected might while also moving gracefully through the urban landscape. The Cullinan SUV is the latest in the Black Badge series of vehicles, for a younger clientele that wants that Rolls-Royce exclusivity, but with a more edgy look. Rolls-Royce launched the Black Badge series to cater to what they called a “subversive cohort,” who are not that interested in traditional car styles and seek a newer form of luxury vehicle. This 6,069-pound SUV has strong steering, stronger air suspension, eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive (22-inch wheels), and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.7-litre V12 engine. There’s even a button on the gear shift lever to amplify the sound of the engine for added effect.

Inside the 5-seat Cullinan, carbon fiber is used to give the center console and the dashboard a certain three-dimensional elegance, topped with a 6-coat lacquer finish. Leather accents and extremely soft carpets add to the beauty. The Cullinan is more of a city SUV than one for going through the countryside. It’s all a big step up from the first version of the Cullinan that launched in 2016.

“Black Badge reflects the desires of a distinct group of Rolls-Royce clients: men and women who take risks, break rules and build success on their own terms,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, in a press release.

It’s 2020 and vinyl is still in style.
